Fabric

I finally ordered my fabric for my kitchen chairs this morning.  And the winner is...

The blue!  I decided that as much as I liked yellow $30 fabric, I couldn't justify spending quite that much when we had other things to purchase.  I liked the plain yellow, but I kept going back to this design.  So I went for it.  Sadly it is currently on back order, but it should be here in 2 weeks.  Check out this great guidance for estimating amount of fabric you'll need for your next project. 

My mom and I finished taking off all the old fabric from the chairs and now we are sanding the frames.  I'll post more pictures soon.  Since my family is down until Thursday, we decided to start a few different projects.  We are finalizing the tile, flooring and design for our master bathroom and finishing our garage.  Lots to do!

{Fabric}

I thought I should update everyone on my chair status.  I have fully removed all the fabric on one of my chairs and now need to pick out the fabric.  I am not sure what way I should go with it.  Originally, I was thinking the fabric color would be yellow.  Of course the color I want is hard to find in upholstery fabric.  I am planning on sanding down the current wood and staining it a darker brown/black color.  Here are a few fabric I am considering.  Let me know what you think! 

 I really liked this one, but of course it is the priciest of the three.

 
I was originally going with yellow, but I really like the pattern of this one!

I also thought that maybe going with a solid textured fabric might be better.  This way they might be more timeless?
