Darn you Target. Went in today with my brother looking for him and I left with four of these.
They were just too cute to say no to. These little funky coffee cups are porcelain, sturdy and have the perfect sized handle = hard to find! Plus, always love me some chevron.
I've also gotten a few cute projects under way on the house. Should be posting some pictures soon. Tired of all this rain.

Monday, October 3
Well, hello October
I firmly believe that October brings all things that are good. I
know I've said this a ton lately, but it really is my favorite month of
the year. Moods change, the weather finally stops being 100 degrees
here in Austin, and you start seeing all things pumpkin pop up. Did I
mention how much I LOVE pumpkin and how many amazing recipes I have with
pumpkin? You'll see more of those pop up through out the month.
Yesterday, after a long weekend {aka awesome wedding} in San Antonio, I called my mom up to go shopping. If you are like me, the few times you go out with money to spend, you never find what you are looking for. I was shoe and wallet shopping and went home with neither. Although I didn't go home empty handed. I actually FINALLY found a trash can for my bathroom, which means we can stop putting our trash in an over sized store bag!!! I was so incredibly excited I about jumped up and down in the store.
I have been pretty particular about the style of items in my master bathroom. To me, the bathroom walls and vanity look more masculine, and I want to bring a little vintage female touch to the space. I am dying to get my claw foot tub in there, which will really help my case. While browsing around Home Good's by my house, I ran into these beauties...
Don't you just love them. They have a simple yet striking design. I am in love.

Too pretty to call a trash can...
I had to get the adorable soap dish and the jar as well. How could I resist?

How was your weekend?
What lovely things did you do this weekend? I must say my one 'free' weekend was filled with projects and plans. My mom and I started the weekend with some shopping where I got these ADORABLE plates
And this amazing rug for my pretty bathroom - Love the design.
I was so excited to take the parents and B to the farmer's markets on Saturday morning. We got some butter lettuce and leafy greens to plant - my big weekend project. I also snagged some yummy Strawberry Balsamic Pepper Jam for the boy.
When I saw a poster for the Wiener Dog Races this last weekend, I knew I had to go. It was hilarious, and B loved it. There were all kinds of puppies for her to love. Her favorite are the great danes! I tried to talk D into getting one, but we decided we'd need a bigger car first. :o)
My big project for the weekend ended up being my new little garden! We bought wood and the boys built 2 for me. We searched for all of our plants, and I stained and water proofed the wood. By Monday, I had these little beauties!

If you are wondering why these are so tall... Have you met B lately? Gotta keep the pups out.
D did such a good job sanding them - Even in the dark
How beautiful are these?
And yes, I am the person that makes labels for her garden!
Well I have to post an update of our bathroom. Really, not much has changed. However, the shiny new fixtures are all on and we just have to save up to get the glass on the shower. Any day now...
Love how it looks!!
Happy Tuesday!
xoxo. B

Love this! I read about Milk and Honey Shoes in a magazine this morning and I am dying to try it. What girl doesn't want to design their own shoes?!!?! I haven't gotten the chance to play much with it, but it looks like fun. Check it out right here.
