Alright all, I officially went to my first laser hair removal appointment today. I decided, last minute, to do my under arms. I've been telling D for about a year now how BAD I wanted this done. Might be TMI, but I would shave and about an hour later, I would have stubble. Gross. Something had to be done. Thanks to the best hubby in the whole wide world, I got my wish. I went to Elements Laser Spa downtown and had a great first appointment. It was a strange feeling, but I wouldn't say it really hurt. I am pretty tolerant to pain - remember I've gotten a tattoo done over my back ribs - so this was easy.
The machines they had were the top of the line. It would push out a cold treatment right before the laser hit the skin to help with the pain. The actual process took about 2 minutes, maybe! Quick and easy, that's they way I like it. Look at my underarms now, it doesn't look like anything happened. Within 10-12 days, the follicles should fall out. Fun. I have to wait 6 weeks for the next appointment and I can't wait.
This picture also really makes me want another tattoo... :) B
