Wish List

Moving into a new house means that I really get to decorate.  I have been slowly getting each room into place, but now I need to put stuff in them.  With all of the much needed house improvements, it's been hard to get all the 'pretties' to fit into the budget.  So what does that leave me?  A really large wish list of items to purchase.  Here are just some of the items I have my eye on.  Let me know what you think of them...

{ BEDROOM }

This is a dresser that I like. I am debating if I even want one.  I like the idea of making shelves in the closet and removing the dresser.  Not sure what will be the best option.

This is what I am thinking about getting for my side tables by my bed.  It has to be taller, but I'm not sure if there is enough space on top for a lamp on each side. 

This is going to go in the master bedroom as well.  There is a lovely space where I have my office, and this will go on the opposite wall.  I really need this to help me get all my stuff organized.  This is a MUST buy. 

{SHEETS AND PRETTIES}

I need new sheets for our bed, but not sure which way to go with them...

 

I love the ruffles on these, and they have a hint of gray in them.  They are also available in just all white which could be nice too. 

 

  Which one do you like better?

 

 This is similar pattern, but in a different shade of gray than my comforter... I think I'm leaning towards the other style.

Most of my room furniture will be black and I want to have accents of silver/metallic/mercury glass and possibly a cobalt (deeper - but not navy) blue.  

I LOVE this B.  It will probably go on my desk. 

I plan on making this type of a frame to go by my desk and make some of the fabric flowers that are the same pattern as my headboard. I will probably do a black frame instead of white.

I also need some pillow shams, and I thought these could be interesting.  My mom and I are planning on making pillows the next time she comes down, but these might be easier to buy.  Not sure If I should go double ruffle, if I do the ruffled sheets.  Overkill?

{CURTAINS}

Now I'm not sure exactly where I want these, but I these are the ones I am drawn to...

These, I think, would look great in my kitchen nook - they come in these 3 different colors... 

Again. Love the ruffles. 

Yellow - I want to accent yellow in my kitchen area.  I still need to find a rug (which you'll see ones I like below), chairs and a table to go along with the curtains.  I'm not yet sure which items I should include the yellow in. 

If I want to keep with the gray, they also have them in that color as well. 

 

While I'm on a ruffle kick - I also found these.  I think I might actually like them best for that kitchen area.  It has the ruffle, but not quite as bold.  Thoughts?

They also come in white.  We have so many windows, which I love.  I really don't want to block all the light from coming into the house, which is why I was drawn to these as well. 

I just like the bold statement here. :o)

{KITCHEN NOOK}

I really like these chairs.  I don't think I will be able to find something like them here.  Well not for the price range I have.  But I want something vintage and has character to go into my kitchen nook.

This is originally the type of chair that I want in my kitchen nook.  Why does it have to be almost $700 and I want TWO?  I love it. Love the color and the design.  Humph. 

{KITCHEN SINK}

So this is one thing that I NEED.  Our sink is pretty gross and the plumbing desperately need to be redone. I was originally drawn to apron styles, but our current cabinets will not let me get this type of sink.

 

This is what I was thinking I would get.  I couldn't decide if I could handle just one drain, but I don't need to worry about that anymore since it won't fit.  Now I can't decide what other style I like.  I know stainless steel is not a good option, because it gets so dirty.  No acrylic. So hmmm. Noting quite looks as pretty as my first option.
